Planetarium Reservations
The planetarium can be reserved for your school field trip, scout group or birthday party
- Planetarium reservations can be made up to six months in advance and no less than two weeks in advance
- Minimum of 25 people per group to make a reservation
- No deposit required

Field Trip Package
Our field trip package is 2 hour and 15 minutes* and can accommodate groups of 25-120 at a time. It includes a planetarium show of your choice and our hands-on rockets activity. All craft supplies will be sanitized between groups to keep everyone safe. We have several shows to choose from on various astronomy topics including several that align with the state core curriculum. To see a description of all of the shows we offer please click here. A field trip costs $5.50 per person with one adult free for every 10 students.
Scout Package
Sorry! Due to staffing changes, we are not able to offer scout packages until spring 2023.
Our scout package is 2.5 hours* and can handle group sizes of 25-40 (reduced from 60 for COVID). We'll start with a hands-on star chart making activity that your scouts can use in their own back yard to find the stars. This will be followed by a planetarium show of your choice. We have many shows to choose from; to see a description of all of the scout suitable shows we offer please click here. After the show, we'll end things with a bang with our hands-on rocket building and launching activity. All craft supplies will be sanitized, and hand sanitizer will be available at all times. Our scout package costs $5.50/person for kids and adults.
Birthday Party Package (adjusted for COVID)
Sorry! Due to staffing changes, we are not able to offer birthday party packages until spring 2023.
Our basic birthday party package for is a 2 hour event for groups of 25-40 party guests and includes a planetarium show of your choice, our hands-on rocket building and launching activity. Use of the lobby for 1 hour for refreshments has been suspended due to COVID. However you're welcome to bring something small like cupcakes and serve it outside after your planetarium event is finished. We will make the lobby festive for your friends and family with stars, planets and rocket decorations. We'll also setup enough tables and chairs to seat 40 people and keep things safe by disinfecting all craft supplies for the rocket launching activity. Before the planetarium show, your child's picture will be prominently displayed on the dome for everyone to see and after the rocket launching activity everyone can keep their rocket as a party favor. We'll also take care of all of the cleaning up so you can enjoy the party! Sorry! We can't do parties for little astronomers under the age of 5. Our birthday party package costs $5.50/person for kids and adults + $50.00 setup fee.
